  • Why should I choose Synapse Consulting ™?

    Synapse Consulting™ was founded by Dr. Charnelle Lewis, CRNA at a time when there was not a lot of information about CRNA school. As a diverse professional consulting agency, with certified professional resume writers on staff, we value and understand your background. We can help you find your voice and hone in on your unique abilities and strengths.

    We’ve been at a place where we thought we couldn’t do it. We’ve felt the pain of not feeling good enough. We know the anxiety that comes with a lack of confidence. We understand you. Wherever you are on your journey, we’re ready to meet you there.

  • Can I get my document sooner?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer rush services due to the volume of clients. We complete services as soon as possible, and try to accommodate to your specific needs. Please try and book your service at least 3-4 weeks in advance. Delivery times are also contingent on timely communication between the consultant and client.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    As part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee, we will work with you until you are 100% happy with your documents. That means unlimited revisions until the final draft. Currently, we do not offer refunds on our résumé services.

Resume FAQ

  • We will take your existing resume (no matter what stage it is at) and information from your consult call to revise your résumé. Based on your career or educational goals, your job descriptions will be edited and information added that will ensure you have a résumé that sells.

  • Place your order by clicking the appropriate link. You will then get access to the client portal where you upload your documents, fill out a short intake form, and schedule your consult call. Work begins on your résumé once the consult call is completed. You can decline the call, but will have to fill out an additional questionnaire.

  • Please have your résumé in front of you for the call. Be prepared to provide accurate dates, locations, certification names/expirations and any extracurricular activities such as shadowing information.

  • Orders are taken on a monthly basis. There are limited slots available. Please book early in the month so that you can have first choice of dates. Additional openings are at the discretion of Synapse Consulting.

  • Everyone’s experience differs, so while we consider any design requests, we will ultimately choose which template that best suits your skills and experiences. In the end, you’ll still have a beautiful document that will definitely impress.

  • First drafts are available within 7-10 business days of us receiving all of the required information. This timeframe does not include holidays or weekends. Orders placed on the weekends or after 5pm EST will be processed the next business day. Final document completion depends on timely communication. We try our very best to get your document to you as soon as possible.

  • Revision requests are completed within two business days or sooner.

  • Unlimited revisions means we'll work on your résumé until you are satisfied. You're free to request changes during and for 7 days after your résumé has been delivered!

Essay FAQ

  • We will take your original essay and provide editing/proofreading. Admissions essays require you to tell your story, and we want you to have a genuine document. We will not write any of your essay content for you. However, we will assist in the structure, flow and content of your essay, while maintaining your unique voice.

  • Please provide ample time for us to review your essay. Because this is a collaborative service, it normally takes a few drafts, but is dependent on your communication. Revision requests and subsequent reviews can take up to 3 business days. We strive to deliver the first draft before 10 business days. Therefore, please submit your essay for service at least 3-6 weeks before your deadline.

  • Editing: Improves the quality of your writing to ensure that the meaning and idea are conveyed correctly.

    Critique: Review and evaluation of document and providing feedback. No direct edits will be made.

  • All edits on your document will be done in Microsoft Word using in-line editing via ‘review’ tab. Your document will then be sent to you through your client portal. This allows you to ‘accept' or ‘reject' the changes we have made on your document.

    If you do not have access to Microsoft Word, Google Docs will be used.

Interview FAQ

  • Submission of your resume and other documents (essay and transcripts) provides us with information to give you dynamic interview questions tailored to your experience, extracurricular activities, and educational background.

  • It is best to begin preparing for your mock interview as soon as you begin submitting applications. It is ideal to allow 3 - 4 weeks or more to prepare before your interview date. You can start using on-demand mock interviewing prior to booking a live mock interview and continue the use of the on-demand practice afterward.

  • The full recording of your interview session will be emailed within 24 - 72 hours of your completed mock interview but typically same-day. Clients will also receive verbal feedback during the interview.

  • Prepare yourself by using the on-demand software, Synapse Ai. Practicing the custom questions recorded by the Synapse staff will provide you with nurse anesthesia questions that will jump-start your prep.

  • The purpose of the mock interview is to prepare for the unexpected. This service is not meant to prepare you for the exact questions you will see and does not willfully ask specific questions based on the school you will be applying to. This service is to enhance your interviewing skills to assist you in positioning yourself for success.
